Demand Analysis: Manufacturing and Import Inventory to Sales Demand
In this project, Matt took on an Inventory Demand Analysis for a 2nd year ecommerce business that had started year one during the Covid ecommerce boom. This company had been scheduled for a 2nd booming year, to the tune of $60M+. However, as the economy normalized out of Covid, issues were becoming apparent. Matt not only uncovered a large disparity in the companies demand planning, but was also able to trend the down turn and identify a $28M total demand disparity in end DDP.
Linear Production Flow
In this project, Matt was brought in to do a Value Stream Analysis and Optimization for a major aviation parts manufacturer at one of their North American sites. Throughout the course of this 10 month project, Matt was able to overhaul their production flow from procurement to ship date. In this optimization, the facility saw an end result in 29% Leadtime reduction, 79% Delinquency reduction, 22% Overall Inventory reduction, and 60% Build to plan improvement.
